On May 30th, the 2026 Erhai Forum on Global Ecological Civilization Construction was held in Dali, Yunnan Province. Hosted by the China International Communications Group, the People's Government of Yunnan Province, and the China Public Relations Association, the forum facilitated in-depth discussions among participants under the theme "Driving Innovation Together For a Beautiful China." Xu Guang, Chairman of the China Environmental Protection Foundation (CEPF), and Liu Chunlong, Secretary-General of CEPF, were invited to attend the forum.

At the sub-forum titled "Ecological Governance: Public Participation and International Collaboration," Secretary-General Liu Chunlong delivered a keynote speech. He introduced CEPF’s activities and achievements in promoting public participation and international cooperation. Liu emphasized that under the leadership of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People's Republic of China, CEPF will continue to uphold and practice the philosophy that "Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets." He stated that CEPF will support efforts to cut carbon emissions,pursue green development, and boost economic growth. Furthermore, CEPF will continue to carry out public welfare projects focused on ecosystem optimization, green and low-carbon transition, to further promote public participation and international collaboration in ecological governance.

Representatives from CEPF partners, including Fast Retailing (China) Trading Co., Ltd. and Huatai Securities Co., Ltd., were also invited to give speech at the sub-forum on "Building Beautiful Cities, Delivering Green Dividends." They shared their respective work in areas of creating sustainable supply chains and developing green finance.
