The China Environmental Protection Foundation (CEPF) and Nike Sports (China) Co., Ltd. initiated the "Recycle A Shoe" public welfare project in 2023. The project will continuously carry out ecological and environmental protection public welfare activities by focusing on building approximately 10 eco-friendly sports fields annually, conducting environmental education for youth, and advocating green consumption among the public.

 

In 2024, the project successfully completed the construction of eco-friendly sports fields at 10 schools across various regions, including Heilongjiang Province, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Gansu Province, Qinghai Province, Hubei Province, Shanghai, Yunnan Province, Guizhou Province, and Hunan Province. By doing so, it has addressed the issue of aging sports facilities in these schools and provided safer, more comfortable, and more eco-friendly sports spaces for teachers and students.
